I'm going to Lima in Feburary and was looking to paraglide. Is there a company there who operates paragliding tourism to tourists who have never atempeted paragliding before?

If you are looking for lessons in paragliding, read the advices provided by the other fellows here in this forum; if you just want to have fun, you can go to Miraflores, the neighborhood close to the Pacific Ocean in Lima, in which you can do paragliding for 10 to 15 minutes with a certified guide for 150 soles (around $50). Google "paragliding in Lima, Peru"; you will get nice views of Lima and the Pacific Ocean.

Don't forget to eat ceviche and drink Pisco Sour in your trip to Peru.

Enjoy your visit!

Sure! the flight will cost you US$ 50 for about 15 minutes. You will go with a trainer. You can find them in Miraflores, near the Parque del Amor. Anybody can show you the place, since it is the only place for paragliding in Lima. Good luck!

(Paragliding is Parapente in Spanish)

Paragliding School of Peru has courses in paragliding along the cliffs of Lima. They work with Extreme Sports Cafe and offer tandem lessons for beginners as well as a one-day course as well as advanced lessons.

It really costs around 100 soles (30 bucks) for an hour but you have to book the day before, if you do it in the last minute it's be for 15 min + US $ 50.
